For 16 years and still running strong, the Ultimate Art Form Tattoo Studio has been the the longest established studio in Saint Charles County since 1992. We have over 100 different flash designs for you to stop in and choose from. We encourage you to take your time since the ink will be apart of you for a lifetime. Customized work is a very large part of what we are about and we do it well. We also specialize in cover up work as well. We have been to many conventions and have gotten awards and have been mentioned in some magazines as well.

Our artists will help you customize your work. Wether it's from one of our flash designs, something you found online, took a picture of or drew on your own. With this mind we will work with you by giving our most professional advice and our opinions to help you achieve the best possible placement and design that you can proudly display for a life time.
Our tattoos start at a minimum of $55.00. For larger pieces or cover-ups the pricing will vary and be discussed with the artists of your choosing. We do get rather busy, so if you stop by and we are unable to assist you at that time, you can schedule and appointment with us and we can set-up a date and time that works best for the both of us and we will work with you one on one. We take much pride in our work and we want you to do the same. So when you leave with your new artwork not only will it represent you as a person, but it represents our studio and the artist no matter how big or small the piece is.

ULTIMATE ART FORM - TATTOO AFTER CARE MINI CARE SHEET

The aftercare is very simple- Keep your tattoo clean and well lotioned with the brand we trust most with tattoos called "H2Ocean Skin Moisturizing Cream" www.h2ocean.com You will recieve a complimentary bottle before you leave along with a care sheet.
You want to wash the area in hot water as hot as you can handle it. That will get the blood more to surface to help promote healing. Use a non-fragranced soap to wash the area. For the first several days that skin might be swollen and hurt to the touch, but you have to clean it good. Dove is a good soap to use on it. If you pruchase a soap that says " anti-bacterial " it does not work any better but if it helps make you feel better than use it as long as it is not fragrant.
If you get tattoos or larger tattoos on a more frequent basis then you may want to try " Satin Antimicrobial Therapeutic Skin Cleanser " it is an awesome choice for cleaning. It does not burn plus it leaves your skin soft. A small bottle of this will go a LONG way and is very effective with keeping it clean and cared for. You can purchase bottles of it online at www.caretechlabs.com.Your body will let you know when it's time to clean. It will often start to hurt and get very hot. If you do not clean it well enough it may get more swollen then it is supposed to be and that can too ruin the tattoo if it does not heal properly. If your tattoo starts to hurt wash immediatley. The more it is washed and cared for the better the outcome will be. It will heal quicker and the colors, wether black/white or vibrant colors will heal solid.
DO NOT - scratch, peel, rub, tear anyting off the tattoo. You can do more harm than good and you can ruin the tattoo beyond repair. Pat or air dry then rub the H2Ocean all over the are until rubbed into the skin. Apply the lotion up to 6 times a day and after every washing. Carry the bottle with you so when you can spare at least 5 minutes you can keep it clean and moisturized. Cleanliness is the key to a solid tattoo.

ULTIMATE ART FORM - PIERCING AFTER CARE MINI CARE SHEET

With taking care of a your new piercing is not that different than that of a tattoo. NEVER USE NEOSPORIN or any other healing oinment. It can cause your piercing to heal abnormally or it can push the piercing out. Once you have your new hole wash it quite frequently in hot water. The best time is in a shower or bath tub. It makes turning the jewelry alot easier to get rid of the crust that builds up on it from the healing process. Like a scab per say. Turning it often keeps it from sticking and healing in one spot. Washing it as much also helps keep it from hurting. A good cleaning will help make it feel refreshed, TRUST ME. Using a sterile saline solution, which you can get from the studio or your local pharmacy which is portable can help clean it and the salt water helps keep it sterile. Especially if the jewelry is in a location where dirt and sweat can get to it all the time. Most anyone can sustaine a piercing but it is up to you to make sure you keep it clean. Alot of time when people report of it getting infected is because they do not follow the directions of keeping it clean.

If you wish to change out the jewelry you should wait 6+ weeks before changing it so you have a well healed hole. Different areas of the body have different instructions that your piercer can give to you/offer when your sessions is complete. We offer a new care oil called "EMU OIL" For a small fee you can purchase a small bottle of this amazing oil which helps promote good healing with just a teeny drop rubbed on the area. To learn more about this product please check it out at www.desertpalmsemu.com It also can aid with tattoos along with other health related issues.
As said before the biggest problem with piercings and tattoos is people not caring for them as they should. Which can lead to people blaming the studio for either not doing it right or not being a clean facility. It only takes a few minutes each time to clean the area several times a day until the healing process is done, which varies with the areas and how well your body heals. Trust me taking those few minutes out of your day, everyday can and will ease discomfort and your piercings will will heal without a problem

If at anytime you become worried about your new ink or piercing you can call us or stop in and the artist/piercer will look over the work.We will give you our expert opinion on future care of it. Also if you have a new tattoo and plan to be in the sun and your ink is in an area were it will be exposed to the light, covering it with a bandage until healed enough to put sunblock on will help. Sun light can damage tattoos over time expecially if its black and white work. Any questions or comments please call us or send us a line under our contact page. We would love to hear from you.
